Vocabulary Parade!

VOCABULARY PARADE!

Save the date! Our very first Vocabulary Parade is on its way! Soon, each student will select a word that will become a costume. Put on your thinking caps! How would you show the word ADRIFT? Or POROUS? Or ZIGZAG? From A to Z, students will consider the entire dictionary as possible wardrobe choices. A word was selected and provided by your child’s teacher and a “Costume Design Sheet” was sent home to help your child plan his/her costume. Your child will be asked for their selected word, a definition, and a sketch of their costume. Thank you for helping us make vocabulary instruction into a Parade of Words!

Mark your calendars!

You are invited to be an honored guest at our Vocabulary Parade!

Date: Friday, March 1, 2019

Time: 1:45 pm
